Original venue was Zeleste, where Sisters played on 1991/03/07, finishing the five day Spain leg of the Tour Thing tour (1991). It was the only time Sisters ever played in Spain until the year 2000. The venue was closed at around the time the Sisters were supposed to play there. |

Written by booies@nme.com for Dominion mailing list band superb as ever, one liner of the evening "good evening in catalan". set list as usual for most of the tour. venue impressive (they had a beer usherette who could get to the barrier complete with fully laden tray) support band had strange guitarist who closely resembled the late frank zappa wearing a purple and black striped skirt. the only food available seemed to be cheese and ham sandwiches (may we never see another) except at the airport (where we spent the 10 hour wait for our flight being tortured by hard to listen to easy listening music, namely all the time in the world by louis armstrong), sandwiches at airport were a multi choice option of cheese, ham or cheese and ham. as tiredness set in we began to suffer sleep depravation hallucinations, the best (or is that worst) was the guy in full austrian national dress (they WERE lederhosen). arrived home sometime yesterday, tired stiff hungry and just waiting for the next one to arrive. hope everyone we met up with got home ok,and that marje and pete enjoyed the beach.
