The Sisters of Mercy covered Hawkwind's Silver Machine only two times, both during the 1993 summer tour: in the first 1993/07/10 Leysin gig and the last gig in Losheim. A verse of the song was included in Sister Ray in Hasselt on 1992/08/29.
On the gig Sister Ray was preceded by Flood II, which explains why Andrew takes his time to scream the wrong song. Popular opinion quotes him being completely drunk and thus forgetting most of the words to Silver Machine (the later is definitely true -- just check the sung lyrics against the original; the closest they come together is the "I have the silver machine" refrain by the backing singers).
Apparently, after Andrew somehow invented the "at a million hours an hour" line, he assotiated it with the recent single of the band (this was the first show after it was released) and sung half of Under the Gun rant on spot, until being cut by the refrain.

I misplaced my tape with the song, so I cannot add offest times. The song starts shortly before the first Flood II excerpt and ends at the beginning of (or just before) the second one.
